International Artist is our longest serving client. Your.com created their first website in 1998. At that time, IA only wanted a simple web presence. Now, after many iterations, the website has evolved into a professional website offering eCommerce, Content Management System, online art competitions, business management and a comprehensive subscription and renewal system.
International Artist - recognized and voted "The best artist magazine in the world" - came to Your.com with a request to create a single portal where all their clients could access different the profit centres and providing country and currency specific solutions. The situation prior to the re-development of the site was:
- All divisions were using different subscription and renewal software
- All divisions were responsible for their own sales, subscriptions and renewals
- There were multiple databases and systems which were not integrated, leading to a multitude of mistakes and poor business handling. These needed to be integrated
- There was no feedback process for clients
- There was no communication process between divisions

Your.com worked with International Artists to specify the requirements and then delivered a highly interactive web solution with:
- One central database / administration area with country specific login / access.
- Different Permission levels for Administrators
- Feedback process for Administrators to ensure clients queries are answered quickly and efficiently
- Members section that allow customers to be able to check their purchases, subscriptions and renewals, eliminating a lot of wasted enquires to IA staff.
- Customized reports for IA including all sales reports for each profit centre.
- Streamlined the business process eliminating mistakes, duplicate subscriptions and renewals and human error.
- Full backend control for gateway and snail mail payments
- Centralised area to manage all facets of the subscription and renewal process from emailing labels to the distribution houses to be printed out and sent with all orders.
- Automated change of address system and notification process
- Email Marketing module utilizing the contacts in the database to target specific campaigns to their clients based on their interests and purchases.
- A scalable hosting solution to meet with the demand of the website and IA many other online presences
